In the colourful landscape of Middle Dalmatia, on the coast full of bays and islands, between Sibenik and Split, lays Rogoznica. Rogoznica was an island that was later connected with the land by bank and road and it is situated in the completely protected bay. Beautiful bay of Rogoznica is protected with the peninsula of Razanj and island Smokvica from east, south and southwest while it's west coast is exposed to the opened sea.


		On peninsula Gradina lays a lake "Dragon's eye" filled with sea water. It is a very important natural bioreactor.

	Special event for the area of Rogoznica is Our Lady of the Chapel on July 2nd. There is a sea procession with the painting of Our Lady. Many locals follow the painting in boats and young girls and boys swimm next to it fourfilling their vows.


Rogoznica is in Middle Dalmatia, on the coast between Sibenik and Split. The Adriatic Highway goes close to Rogoznica. International airport " Divulje" is only 25 km away. Distance from the train station is 32 km. ( Sibenik) Distance from the ferry port is 32 km. ( Sibenik) Distance from the bus stop is 1 km. Distance from the gas station is 8 km .
